Who we are

LittleBangkok (littlebangkok.app) is run by Nicola Hughes, Bangkok, Thailand. Contact: hello@littlebangkok.app.

What we collect

Account info — email, display name, optional avatar.
Content you create — venues, reviews, photos.
Technical data — minimal logs needed to keep the site running.

How we use it

To show your contributions to other parents, to keep your account secure, and to send essential service emails (sign-in confirmations, password resets) and, only if you opt in, our weekly round-up email with new places, family events, community highlights and occasional clearly-labelled partner offers.

If you contact us through the For businesses form, we use those details only to reply to you and manage your listing enquiry.

Who we share with

Our hosting (Lovable Cloud), our map provider (Google Maps), our email delivery provider (to send the weekly round-up), and — for premium listings — our payment processor (Paddle). We never sell your data.

Marketing emails and your consent

We only send the weekly round-up if you tick the opt-in box when you sign up or switch it on in your profile. We record when you gave consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in every email, switch it off in your profile's Email preferences, or email us at hello@littlebangkok.app. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect your account — you can still use LittleBangkok as before.

Your content

You can edit your profile, delete venues and reviews you created, or close your account at any time from the profile page. Email us for full data export or erasure.

Your rights (Thailand PDPA)

Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you can request access to your personal data, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we process it, and withdraw your consent. Contact hello@littlebangkok.app and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand.

How long we keep data

Account data — while your account is open.
Marketing consent records — for as long as you're subscribed, plus 2 years as proof of consent.
Business enquiries — for 2 years.
